Notes on this conversion
The page is laid out by LibreOffice, not by a browser, and that is the whole of what to expect. CSS support is Writer's rather than Chrome's, so a layout built on modern flexbox or grid rules will not be reproduced the way a browser draws it. Scripts do not run, and resources the markup links to are not fetched over the network, so a page whose content is assembled at load time arrives as whatever the raw markup already said. Nothing in the file itself is lost; the difference is in how it is drawn.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it look like it does in my browser?
Not necessarily. LibreOffice lays the page out, not a browser engine, so modern CSS layout is not reproduced the way Chrome or Firefox draws it.
Do scripts and external files load?
No. Nothing is fetched over the network and no script runs, so a page that builds its content at load time converts as whatever the raw markup already contained.
Is the text itself preserved?
Yes. Nothing in the file is dropped — the difference is in how the page is drawn, not in what it says.
