Notes on this conversion
This route takes two hops: the Markdown is turned into HTML, and LibreOffice renders that HTML. So Markdown's own constructs — headings, lists, tables, code blocks, emphasis — survive the first hop intact, and everything in the HTML note applies to the second. The practical consequence is that the PDF looks like a plain HTML document rather than like a typeset page: there is no theme, and no styling beyond what the intermediate HTML carries. Nothing is dropped on either hop.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Markdown rendered?
In two hops: it becomes HTML first, then LibreOffice renders that HTML. Headings, lists, tables, code blocks and emphasis all survive the first hop.
Can I apply a theme or stylesheet?
No. The PDF looks like a plain HTML document, because the intermediate HTML carries no styling of its own.
Are code blocks kept?
Yes, as blocks of text. They keep their content and their line breaks; syntax colouring is not applied, because the intermediate HTML does not add any.
