- 3
Download a single PNG, or a ZIP holding one PNG per page.
Notes on this conversion
Pages are rasterised with Poppler and written as PNG, which stores pixels without recompressing them. That is the whole difference from the JPG route: small type and thin rules keep hard edges instead of picking up the soft halo JPEG compression leaves around them, and the cost is a larger file. Resolution runs from 72 to 600 DPI and defaults to 150. One page comes back as a single .png; two or more come back as a .zip holding page_001.png, page_002.png and so on in document order. The conversion renders each page as it appears — it does not isolate a subject or remove a background.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get a cut-out with the background removed?
No. The page is rendered as it appears, and nothing in this conversion isolates a subject or strips a background. Removing a background is a separate operation on the image afterwards.
PNG or JPG for pages of text?
PNG. It keeps pixels exactly as rendered, so small type and thin rules stay sharp. JPG recompresses and leaves a soft halo around hard edges, which shows up first on exactly that kind of detail.
Why did I get a ZIP instead of an image?
Because the PDF had more than one page. Each page becomes its own file, bundled in order as page_001.png, page_002.png and so on. A single-page PDF comes back as a plain .png.
